Situation in Rakhine State

31 August 2018: On August 27, the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Myanmar published its findings pertaining to the situation in Rakhine state, Myanmar. Telenor Group issued the following statement, calling for immediate action and open dialogue between all actors.

“We view with grave concern the findings of the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Myanmar, and support the call to immediately implement the recommendations in the previously released Final Report of the Advisory Commission on Rakhine State (chaired by the late Kofi Annan).

We call for open dialogue, and sustained engagement between all actors to chart a positive vision for the future of Rakhine state.
