Role Overview:
In RF domain, network dimensioning plays a critical role in ensuring the optimum positioning of resources to maximize business outcome. This role demands expertise in total RF dimensioning from site/cell level up to BSC/RNC level dimensioning including TAC/LAC. This position will be responsible in ensuring the targeted sustainable network QoS/QOE with minimum cost and time exposure.
On top, this role will be responsible to trial new features/ topology in GP RF domain. New features/ topology plays an integral part in ensuring the maximum efficiency from existing network base. Responsibility of this position will be to ensure structured trial/ deployment of potential features/ topology in GP RF network, ensure regularized audit for parameter/ feature standardization and work closely with OEM partners to develop new customized features/ topology. Also, this position will work in the spectrum refarming, new technology deployment section under innovation initiative.
Job Responsibilities:
In depth knowledge in BSC/ RNC/ LAC/ TAC planning and dimensioning including rehoming activities.
Expertise in RF network dimensioning including cell planning/ site design etc
Detailed expertise on advanced parameters/ features of multi-vendor system( special focus on Huawei and ZTE)
In depth expertise on RF parameter settings for multi vendor RF network
Hands-on expertise on spectrum management, refarming and subsequent performance management
Justification document preparation for BTRC NOC
Understanding different RAN contract with supplier, ensure periodic Contract Amendment according to the needs of Technology, and within the clauses of the existing contracts.
Vendor collaboration to innovate customized features/ topology. Work with Group to standardize topology/features as per best practice.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
B.Sc. in Electrical/Computer Science Engineering from a reputed University
Experience:
At least 6 years’ experience in RF Planning and Solution with proven track record in any reputed organization
