Telenor Group becomes Presenting Partner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010

(Fornebu, 11 September 2009) The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) today announced the Telenor Group as Presenting Partner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo. The three shows, Semi-Finals on 25 and 27 May and the Final on 29 May 2010, will be televised live, hosted by the Norwegian national public broadcaster NRK.
Telenor Group, one of the leading mobile operators is the world, has been granted extensive pan-European event, association, media and new media rights for the upcoming events in Oslo. As a key part of the sponsorship rights Telenor Group will be entitled to produce and market the Official Eurovision Song Contest Mobile Phone across all its participating markets.
