Sharad Mehrotra

Background

Served as CEO of Telenor India, a position he has held since 2015. Sharad Mehrotra joined Telenor ten years ago as part of the core management team launching operations in India. Based on this experience, he moved on to develop best practices in sales and distribution for Telenor operations across the entire Asian region, based in Bangkok. In 2013, he was appointed the first CMO in Telenor Myanmar, and helped launch and build the company during its first two years of commercial operations. Prior to joining Telenor, he served in companies including Aircel, Ericsson and BPL Telecom in India.
