The insurance company Tryg has chosen Telenor as its supplier for a new contact centre solution and telephony platform. The contract is worth almost NOK 80 million over a period of five years.
Tryg is the second largest general insurance company in the Nordic region, employing around 4000 people and with activities in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. The contact centre solution and telephony platform, which is based on Cisco's hardware and software, will now be used by Tryg's operations in Denmark and Norway.

Modern customer experience

“The new telephony solution from Telenor will reduce Tryg's costs and other challenges. The solution accommodates all modern forms of communications so that we can provide our customers a modern customer experience,” says Niels Vorum-Petersen, Director for Shared Systems at Tryg.

The new solution will replace Tryg's current contact centre as well as a previous telephony solution also supplied by Telenor. Implementation and operation will be carried out by Telenor Norway's subsidiary Datametrix.

Business-critical

“We are humble in the face of this task, which is a good example of how business-critical a communications solution can be. In Datamatrix, Telenor possesses one of Europe's most skilled environments within contact centres and hosted telephony solutions, and we look forward to working closely with Tryg to establish a customer service solution for the future,” says Marina Lønning, Business Market Manager at Telenor Norway.
