To the editors: Dag Vangsnes leaves Telenor

Director of Communications at Telenor International Mobile, Mr. Dag Vangsnes, has chosen to leave his position at Telenor. He has been responsible for external and internal communications on behalf of Telenor International Mobile, with special responsibility for liaising with communication activities at Telenor's international mobile operations.

"I have had five good and eventful years at Telenor Mobile, later Telenor International Mobile. I have learned much, and it has been a privilege to be part of Telenor in a crucial period of international expansion. It has been a hectic and exiting period of my life, but I now feel the time has come to seek new challenges," said Dag Vangsnes.

Dag Vangsnes will retain his status as an employee of Telenor until 31 August 2005 but will cease to act as Director of Communications as from today.

"I want to thank Dag for his invaluable contribution to build and profile Telenor's international mobile venture," commented Senior Executive Vice President and head of Telenor International Mobile, Mr. Arve Johansen.
