Telenor Vision extends cable-TV activity in Sweden

Telenor Vision has purchased 91 percent of Seth's Kabel TV Förvaltning i Sverige AB, and 49 percent of Seth's BIT.com AB which, among others, includes the subsidiary company Seth's Antenn & Teleteknik. Following this purchase Telenor Vision will have 275,000 Swedish households as cable-TV customers.
As a result of this investment Telenor Vision is expanding its activity from that of being a program provider to the cable-TV network to that of a complete cable-TV operator in the Swedish cable-TV market. Seth's Cable-TV company is a fully upgraded cable TV network which is able to offer its customers a broad spectrum of services. The purchase means that Telenor Vision is increasing its customer base in Sweden by 14,500 cable-TV households to a total of 275,000 households.

Seth's commenced activity in Gothenburg in 1975. This includes a broad product portfolio with its own cable-TV network in Gothenburg and Skania (Southern Sweden) in addition to entrepreneur and installation services which also include sale of cable-TV equipment. Seth's Digital Teknik, DTK, commenced in 1997 and is a nationwide chain of 47 installation companies within cable-TV, networks and satellite communication.
