On Monday 30 October, Telenor and the other principal shareholders in Bravida ASA and Trition entered into an agreement that Triton shall acquire full ownership of Bravida. Telenor holds a 46,9 per cent ownership interest in Bravida, which offers piping, electricity and ventilation services.

The sale of this minority share is made in accordance with Telenor's strategy to divest business operations that fall outside the scope of Telenor's core activities. Ever since the company was established up in 2000, Bravida's operations have not been part of Telenor's core activities. In 2004, Bravida sold its subsidiaries IKT, Telekom and Geomatikk. Since then, the company has not supplied any services related to IT or telecommunications.

The transaction is subject to approval from regulatory authorities in Norway and Sweden.
