Telenor to offer up to four times higher ADSL speeds in the business market
"Broadband has become a key part of the infrastructure of both businesses and public sector activities. In response to this development, we are now offering increased speeds at unchanged rates," said Head of Division Stein-Erik Vellan, at Business Norway.
This is the second time in three months that Telenor increases its broadband speeds in the business market. On 23 August, Telenor launched 4 or 8 Mbit/s speeds for SHDSL, the broadband that offers equal speeds for both up and downloading of data. And on 1 July, Telenor doubled the speeds for most business ADSL products without changing any rates.
This is an outline of Telenor's new speeds and rates for the business market:

* Registered customers with 1000/350 Kbps subscriptions will still be offered a rate of NOK 649 after being upgraded to 4000/600 kbps. All rates are exclusive of VAT.
The range of products available to each individual subscriber will depend on line quality and on whether the central that the individual subscriber is connected to has been prepared for the requested product.
