Telenor lowers prices on calls from fixed-line telephones to mobile phones

From December 22, 2001 it will be cheaper to call from the fixed-line network in Norway to Telenor Mobile's subscribers. Telenor will from that date reduce its prices by nine per cent. Prices for calls from fixed-line telephones to some infrequently called countries will be adjusted from the same date.
Calls from the fixed-line network in Norway to Telenor Mobile's subscribers will be reduced from NOK 1.34 per minute to NOK 1.22 per minute. This is a price reduction of nine per cent. Earlier this year, Telenor reduced this price by NOK 0.06 per minute. This means that in the past year, this type of call has become NOK 0.18 or 13 per cent less expensive per minute.

As a part of the price adjustments, Telenor will also be changing its prices for certain foreign countries from the same date. These are mainly infrequently called countries. Price adjustments made from December 22, 2001 are the following:

The prices are listed per minute and include VAT and apply 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
