Telenor Excels on Dow Jones

For the fifth consecutive year, Telenor has achieved a world leading position on the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI).

Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes - Member 2006/07This index ranks companies worldwide based on an overall assessment of financial, environmental and social performance. Telenor has achieved a number 2 position in competition with the top 24 mobile operators, only beaten by Vodafone.

Outperforming competitors

Telenor's policies, work methods, management systems and our stakeholder relations are assessed in such areas as business ethics, customer relations, risk assessment, strategic management, employee satisfaction, work environment and many more. These factors are then reviewed together with our financial results.

Number one next year?
