Oracle names Telenor Business Solutions hosting service provider of the year

Oracle has awarded Telenor Business Solutions as "The hosting service provider of the year for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). This decision was announced at Oracle's Executive Partner Forum in Cannes on Tuesday.
Telenor Business Solutions has been offering the entire Oracle software platform to customers since October 2001, which it hosts in its highly secure "superhub" data centres in Norway and the United Kingdom. Customers in Europe have the opportunity of accessing the Oracle9i technology platform and Oracle E-Business Suite of applications directly from Oracle Outsourcing or through a managed service with Telenor Business Solutions.
While receiving the award Telenor Business Solutions announced a new customer as part of their initiative to deliver e-business applications online as a managed hosted service. MultiBrand ASA, the Norwegian employee benefit management company, has selected Telenor to manage its specialised online applications service.
