Major Nordic initiative with Telenor

Yes Television plc and Telenor announce that the two companies have signed a letter of intent to deliver a total television interactive service throughout the Nordic region.
The commercial framework will involve the establishment of a Commercial Relationship Agreement under which the service is delivered in the Nordic region. Yes Television will provide software and associated applications for a VOD service, whilst Telenor will provide the broadband cable network for distribution and content.
Thomas Kressner, Chairman and CEO of Yes Television, commented:
- This is an exciting development for us in a region where customers expect the highest quality technology. We are delighted that we are the partner of choice and we will have the opportunity to develop this "total television" service with Telenor over their broadband networks.
Stig Eide Sivertsen, CEO of Telenor Broadband Services, commenting from Telenor said:
- We have in Yes Television the leading service provider of VOD and interactive programming and look forward to developing with them a framework for interactive total television throughout the Nordic region.
