Kristin Skogen Lund new Executive Vice President in Telenor

Kristin Skogen Lund (43) has been employed as Executive Vice President (EVP) in Telenor with responsibility for the Nordic region, which includes Telenor Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Broadcast. Kristin Skogen Lund will be part of the Group Executive Management of the Telenor Group.
Kristin Skogen Lund is today Chief Executive Officer of Aftenposten, one of the largest newspapers in Norway, and she has previously held several leading positions in the media group Schibsted
I am very pleased that Kristin Skogen Lund has accepted to take on the position as EVP and Head of the Nordic operations in Telenor. She brings with her renewal and leadership experience through her comprehensive background, both from the media industry and from other large consumer goods organisations, says Jon Fredrik Baksaas, CEO and President of the Telenor Group. The current development of Telenor in the Nordic region is solid, driven by the local CEO's together with EVP Ragnar Korsæth. That gives Skogen Lund a good foundation to build on and we look forward to work together with her on this, said Jon Fredrik Baksaas.

Kristin Skogen Lund is the vice chairman of the NHO (Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise) and board member if Aftonbladet AB of Sweden and Orkla ASA.
Skogen Lund has previously held the position as commercial director in Aftenposten (2004-2007), CEO of the image bureau Scanpix Scandinavia (2003-2004), CEO of the Internet portal Scandinavia Online (1998-200e), in addition to various management positions in Unilever and Coca-Cola.
Skogen Lund holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Business Administration from University of Oregon in Eugene, USA and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
The time for when she will take office will be announced later. EVP Ragnar Korsæth will act in his current position until Skogen Lund commences.
