Headquarters of Telenor Group's Hungarian subsidiary inaugurated

Budapest/Fornebu, 22 September 2009: Pannon House, the new headquarters of Telenor Group's subsidiary Pannon in Hungary, was today inaugurated by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon and Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway.
"We are grateful for Their Royal Highnesses being present and inaugurating our new office building in Hungary. Through moving into these environmental-friendly premises that also encourage information to be shared freely in a transparent and open working environment, we take into consideration our aim of contributing to the environment as well as creating a workspace that nurtures innovation for the future," said President and CEO of the Telenor Group, Jon Fredrik Baksaas.

The environmentally friendly office building is one of Hungary's greenest facilities. It accommodates one of Hungary's most powerful heat pumps, and has solar cells to produce hot water. The building was designed to minimize its environmental footprint.
