Djuice, Telenor Mobile's mobile Internet service provider, and Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG) have signed a distribution agreement that will bring Disney-branded content to Scandinavian mobile users for the first time. Disney Mobile content, including logos, ringtones, wallpaper screens, electronic greeting cards and games, based on Disney's line-up of popular characters, will be available to djuice mobile users in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Djuice will launch the Disney offering this spring.
"We are thrilled to work with one of the world's leading content brands," said Jon Erik Haug, djuice Managing Director. "We firmly believe that entertainment as well as quality content will drive mass market uptake of mobile Internet services. The wireless experience in Norway has revealed that consumers are willing to pay for quality content, and Disney is a prime creator of quality content.

"Disney's SMS, WAP and future MMS (Multi Media Messaging Service) services will be essential in djuice's portfolio of services, including sound, picture and text for the Scandinavian market.
With the implementation of 3G and mobile devices with colour screens, the Disney Mobile services will be optimised. Walt Disney is the largest content provider of high quality family entertainment in the World and we look forward to working with the company in Scandinavia," said Jon Erik Haug, djuice managing director.

"The Disney brand has proven very successful in wireless in Asia, and we are pleased to bring Disney Mobile content to the Scandinavian market," said Mark Handler, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, WDIG International. "Djuice has been very innovative and creative in these markets, and we're pleased to make Disney content available on their platform," said Handler.

In addition to classic characters, the Disney Mobile content will feature content and characters from upcoming Disney movie, video and DVD releases. In total, djuice will offer more than 100 ringtones based on classic Disney tunes such as, 'It's a Small World' and the 'Mickey Mouse Club March'.

Djuice users with WAP enabled mobile devices will also be the first consumers in Scandinavia with access to the Disney Pixar's Monsters Inc. WAP game.

Disney Mobile entered the Asian wireless market in the summer of 2000 with the launch of Disney-i on NTT DoCoMo's platform in Japan. Today, Disney-i has more than 2.2 million subscriptions. The company has also signed wireless content distribution agreements in 12 International markets.
