CEO changes in Telenor Operations

Telenor Group today announced CEO changes in its business units in Montenegro, Hungary, Thailand and Bangladesh.
The new CEOs are:

  • In Montenegro, Mrs. Kaaren Hilsen is appointed CEO of Telenor Montenegro from 18 January, succeeding Mr. Christopher Laska.

  • In Hungary, Mr. Christopher Laska is appointed CEO of Telenor Hungary from 18 January, succeeding Mr. Anders Jensen who has decided to leave Telenor Group.

  • In Thailand, Mr. Jon Eddy Abdullah is appointed CEO of Dtac from 1 March 2011, succeeding Mr. Tore Johnsen.

  • In Bangladesh, Mr. Tore Johnsen is appointed CEO of Grameenphone from 1 March 2011, succeeding Mr. Oddvar Hesjedal who after close to three years will return to Oslo. Oddvar will join Telenor Group in a Senior Management position to be announced.
