Telenor has appointed Bjørn Ivar Moen as new CEO of Canal Digital and Telenor Broadcast. He will take up his new role as of 1 June.
Moen has worked in Telenor since 2000 in different key management roles, most recently as acting CEO of Telenor Norway. Prior to that, he was Chief Marketing Officer in the Norwegian operation. His extensive business and management experience makes him an ideal candidate for this exciting role. Moen will replace current CEO Ragnar Kårhus, who, as previously announced, will take on a new external role after the summer.
