Telenor has entered into an agreement with Aker Kværner to supply mobile telephony solutions for approximately 4,000 employees in the group.

The agreement covers supplying the basis mobile subscription, mobile data services, wireless hotspots and the Mobilt Kontor data card. The agreement is worth NOK 30 million a year and will run for 18 months, with an option to extend, and all companies in the Aker group can join it.

"We chose Telenor to supply mobile telephony services primarily due to cost considerations, but we also looked at the services offered. We look forward to an exciting and greater cooperation with Telenor in the future," says Henke Erichsen, Director for Supply Management in Aker Kværner Business Partner.

"At Telenor, we are very pleased to be Aker Kværner's preferred partner for mobile telephony and hope this can be the beginning of a broad cooperation with the Aker group," says Irene Wara, Director for Key Accounts in Telenor Business Norway.
