Telenor Asia HRIA
Telenor engaged BSR to undertake a Human Rights Impact Assessment (HRIA) of its investments in Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Thailand. This paper summarizes the key observations, human rights impacts, and recommendations arising from the HRIA. BSR undertook the HRIA from January to April 2026, and while it was funded by Telenor, BSR had editorial control over its content.
Telenor is reviewing and taking action on the recommendations as part of the company’s ongoing work to reinforce human rights due diligence.
