Role Overview:
Purpose of this job is to assume responsibility for sourcing of strategically important, high spend & critical categories within Network sourcing area. The responsibilities also include to work as sourcing interface for post contract execution, contract governance & life cycle management, spend control and to secure gradual efficiency through proper VRM.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare category wise spend analysis and propose way forward for bringing efficiencies in terms of savings and value additions
Conduct RFI, RFQ/Tender in a fair & competitive environment following approved Sourcing manuals from initiation to awarding stage
Prepare Sourcing strategy through detailed category analysis
Ensure compliance to Sourcing policy, procedures and work instructions and Keep record updated for future references
Follow and conduct Vendor Governance Forum to follow post contract Supplier’s performance working closely with respective users
Follow up with vendor market development, technology development & road map and align/incorporate them in Sourcing strategy to ensure best value for money
Exercise best practices for service & cost benchmark and propose efficiency opportunity
Education & Experience Requirements:
Education:
Graduate / Masters in any discipline from a reputed university
Engineering / Computer Science / MBA / CIPS is preferable
Experience:
5+ years of experience in Sourcing / Procurement or Related field
Basic knowledge on Financial Parameters, Bangladesh Tax regime is preferred

Knowledge of sourcing contract, techno-legal-commercial terms and conditions and be able to interpret the terms in different situations to suit GP needs.
Shall be able to negotiate the contract with internal stakeholders and also with vendors to have a balance position.
Shall be able to co-relate scope, price, performance / LSA, model network, and liability under the contract and view a holistic picture
Experience in working with following tools will be definite advantage: Advanced Excel, Coupa, Phoenix / Sievo and Think cell.
Correlating the data derived from these tools with scope and analyze it holistically
