Telenor Procurement Company (TPC), established in 2017 and based out of Singapore, operates as a subsidiary of the Telenor Group.  We deliver Global Category Management as a service to the Telenor Business Units and beyond, taking full responsibility for the end-to-end Sourcing process and performance of global spend categories. Functioning as one Global Procurement team across all Telenor markets, we enable Telenor’s strategic ambitions by becoming a centre of expertise in the pursuit of efficient operations. Main tasks

As a Manager, Strategy and Performance ISIT, you will report directly to VP, ISIT and have a pivotal role in terms of ownership as to formulating and executing overall category management strategies in very close-co-operation with Category Teams.  In addition, the role implies taking strong ownership over category reporting and performance management, as well as taking a forward leaning approach towards systematically supporting identification of new value-creation opportunities. You will work across the four categories within ISIT, namely; IT Applications, Enterprise Software, Infrastructure & Cloud and ISIT Services.

Main tasks include:

  • Support the VP of ISIT Area in opportunity analysis within the categories and cross-category

  • Follow-up with Head of Categories on spend development and category performance

  • End-to-end responsible for quantitative analysis within the category in regard to both the spend base and sourcing activities (baselining, Total Cost of Operations, evaluation models and criteria)

  • Responsible for all reporting requirements within the category, including spend under management, savings, target settings, pipeline planning, ensuring timely update of savings tracking system by category teams

  • Support the VP of ISIT Area in preparing for and conducting management meetings, e.g. MBR, Board meetings etc.

Profile & Qualifications

To succeed in this role it is believed that a deep understanding of strategy and analysis and performance within sourcing context is needed, in particular in regards to Telecom ISIT categories. You will on a daily basis interact with numerous senior stakeholders across different markets in the Telenor Group. You therefore need to be a natural communicator and interact and facilitate a multi-functional stakeholder dialogue effectively and convincingly on complex matters.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience either in a strategy and analysis and performance management role or as strategic sourcing expert, preferably within the Telecom ISIT categories

  • Bachelor of degree in statistics, finance or equivalent. MBA will be preferred.

  • Broad experience with common data processing tools, e.g. advanced knowledge of Excel or Tableau
