VP – ISIT
What you will do
You will be a part of the ISIT Team which is one of TPC’s core procurement function.
Lead and manage team of professionals & be responsible for engagement and enablement of the team.
Responsible for category strategy development, set clearly defined and measurable goals and objectives for the category.
Translate category strategy developed into annual pipeline projects and ensure prioritization of the projects well aligned with functional stakeholders and demand owners.
Lead & manage strategic sourcing projects as per procurement policy and processes of TPC and play pivotal role in the processes including challenging demand specifications, setup sourcing process, supplier negotiations and contract management.
Own and drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with top tier vendors of the category
Responsible to deliver on annual KPI targets including savings, procurement efficiencies, customer satisfaction and other KPIs.
Stakeholder management and establishing working relationship with customers is key. Work in partnership with the technology/functional teams and business units to ensure alignment of priorities, activities and projects.
Overviewing delivery of post-contracting projects, equipment, goods and services across the category.
Handle conflicts and disputes with the suppliers & stakeholders.
Ensure monthly reporting & progress tracking using Procurement systems and processes in place in TPC.
Foresee business risks related to role, highlighting to leadership and work towards mitigating risks in best manner.
You may expect to be involved (beyond category role) in both ISIT related strategic procurement initiatives and strategic initiatives in other core procurement areas like Networks, Markets & Indirect etc. as per requirements from time to time.
We are fast moving, and the environment is dynamic thus there are likely to be changes in priorities, so we expect you to be flexible adjusting to new activities, i.e., it is very similar to working in management consulting or a transformation office.
Personal profile
We seek a Category Director, ISIT Enterprise Software who has strong sourcing knowledge and has experience in strategic sourcing process, high level stakeholder management experience, working experience in multi-cultural set up with set focus on relationship program with TPC’s internal and external customers over.
The following personal characteristics will be critical to succeed in the role:
Strong business knowledge in telecommunications landscape with in-depth knowledge of Software & Applications.
Have deep understanding of sourcing techniques, demand management, forecasting methods, contractual concepts & clauses.
Thorough knowledge and experience of software licensing models and industry business models
Sourcing professional with sourcing mindset and still maintaining a focus on business support, operations and stakeholder interests.
Excellent negotiations skills with flexibility in approach while sticking to basic negotiation principles.
Communicate and interact effectively (verbal, presentation, facilitation & listening modes of communication) across organizational and cultural boundaries, internal and external on executive management level.
Has handled multi-country, multi-million dollar sourcing projects involving multiple stakeholders with conflicting interests.
Broad experience with common data processing tools, latest procurement tools, etc e.g. Excel, Coupa, Sievo.
Result oriented, demonstrating excellent collaboration abilities; able to work with a high degree of execution power and passion; high level of integrity and ethics.
Ability to counsel and influence decision-makers by creating clear recommendations that will be presented to relevant decision makers in the executive management (internal and third party) and to TPC board (if applicable).

Requirements – Education and Experience
A university degree, preferably within business administration, engineering, finance, supply chain or equivalent
More than 10 years extensive experience in senior procurement / contract management / vendor / negotiations / supply chain management role preferably in Software related categories.
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience and preferably in a global and matrix environment
Solid leadership experience from setting up and managing high performing multi-cultural teams.
Additional requirements that would be desirable for applicants:
