Telenor Procurement Company (TPC), established in 2017 and based out of Singapore, operates as a subsidiary of the Telenor Group.  We deliver Global Category Management as a service to the Telenor Business Units and beyond, taking full responsibility for the end-to-end Sourcing process and performance of global spend categories. Functioning as one Global Procurement team across all Telenor markets, we enable Telenor’s strategic ambitions by becoming a centre of expertise in the pursuit of efficient operations. TPC seeks qualified procurement professionals that are comfortable working in a global setup in the fast-paced Telecom field.

Main responsibilities include: 

  • Drafting and negotiation of contracts; ensuring consistent approach to commercial terms and operational clauses; flagging of end of contract deadlines and management of contractual issues during the performance of the contract execution by the suppliers

  • Provide legal advice and contract assessments to business teams

  • Continuously ensure alignment with the Telenor Group and/or TPC governing principles and policies as applicable

  • Identify key risks in relation to supplier contracts and suggest solutions, both specifically/case based and as general solutions

  • Build and maintain stakeholder relations internally and externally

  • Assist in the resolution of contractual challenges/disputes

Educational Requirements

  • Qualified to practice Law in Singapore with at least a bachelor's degree in law with strong academic results

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with contract development/drafting/review, negotiations, corporate law, contract assessments and disputes

  • Experience in dealing with cross border conflicts, sanctions and export control matters would be advantageous

  • Knowledge of telecommunications, technology or IT contracting would be preferred
