Grameenphone Ltd. is seeking an experienced Head of B2B Stakeholder & Regulatory Management to join Business Division. This critical role will lead regulatory engagements, influence policy development, manage compliance processes, expedite BTRC approvals and mitigate regulatory risks to support sustainable growth in the B2B segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with BTRC, AMTOB and other regulatory bodies to support B2B regulatory needs through continuous engagement, collaboration and proactive advocacy.
Policy Influence: Actively participate in regulatory policy development discussions relevant to B2B services, align closely with GP CA Team, advocate for favorable outcomes and ensure internal B2B processes comply with evolving regulatory frameworks.
Approval Processing: Oversee end-to-end process of BTRC approval applications for B2B new sales, up-sales and related approvals, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance and timely execution to support business monetization and enhance the B2B customer experience.
Reporting and Compliance: Coordinate with internal teams to compile and submit accurate and timely reports to regulators, while ensuring adherence to GP’s privacy and security policies.
B2B Regulatory Risk Management: Identify, assess and proactively mitigate regulatory risks associated with B2B operations across. Maintain updated risk registers and drive regulatory compliance governance for the B2B domain.
Internal B2B Advisory and Enablement: Serve as the regulatory subject-matter expert for B2B teams, conducting training sessions and resolving regulatory inquiries.
Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline B2B regulatory processes, advocate for process simplification with regulators and industry stakeholders and drive operational efficiency to support faster service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Project Collaboration: Support cross-functional regulatory projects related to customer registration, revalidation, compliance and other initiatives.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Master’s degree or professional certifications in Regulatory Compliance or Telecommunications (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 7-8 years of relevant professional experience.
Proven experience in engaging with key business stakeholders (e.g. Regulator, B2B Customers, Industry associations, strategic partners and internal cross-functional teams)
Good understanding of B2B business models, customer lifecycle management, compliance frameworks and basic IT systems related to customer registration.
