We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Privacy Analyst to join our team in Lisbon. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our company's compliance with data protection regulations in the countries we operate in.

What will you work on?

• Support the development and execution of Telenor’s privacy compliance strategy across departments and systems.
• Conduct privacy assessments such as data protection impact assessments and transfer impact assessments and provide expert input on risk mitigation.
• Record, monitor and assess data processing activities to ensure compliance with GDPR and internal standards.
• Provide guidance and training to departments on privacy by design, data minimization principles.
• Collaborate with legal, security, and IT teams to ensure alignment on privacy practices.
• Contribute to privacy awareness efforts and the continuous development of our internal privacy framework.
• Support incident response processes and help manage data breach assessments and reporting when needed.

Who are we looking for?

• A relevant academic background, preferably in law, compliance, IT security, or data protection.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.
• Experience conducting data protection impact assessments and handling privacy documentation.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities in English. Portuguese or Scandinavian languages are a plus.
• A solution-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in privacy, ethics, and digital responsibility.
