Job Overview:
The position is responsible for enhancing Grameenphone’s corporate image and reputation through strategic content creation, message development, and narrative building, and diverse corporate communications disseminated through various media channels. By delivering consistent, clear, and strategically aligned external communications, the Corporate Communications Manager ensures alignment with Grameenphone’s corporate communications strategy driving positive brand perception and media stakeholder engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
Support in preparing and executing the External Communications strategy of Grameenphone.
Ensure consistent, clear, and coherent corporate messaging across all channels in alignment with the Corporate Communications strategy of Grameenphone.
Create contents and oversee the dissemination of Corporate Communications materials, such as press releases, reports, articles, talking points, etc. through effective storytelling.
Effectively use all forms of media and communications – to build, maintain and manage reputation of the company.
Work closely with the PR agency on PR planning and execution.
Proactively pitch stories to media outlets and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate press conferences, media briefings, and other media events.
Monitor media coverage and analyze its impact, providing regular reports and insights.
Support the development and execution of crisis communication plans.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and the evolving media landscape in the telecom sector.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Mass Communications/Journalism, or a related discipline is preferred.
Preferably 3 - 6 years of working experience in the related fields/ roles.
Excellent writing, interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong understanding of content, communication channels and digital/social media platforms.
