TV Apps Delivery Manager
Om stillingen
Telenor is building the next generation of TV and streaming experiences for customers across Norway, Sweden, and Finland. We are now looking for a TV Apps Delivery Manager to join our Nordic TV & Streaming team as a maternity leave cover (12 months).
This role is critical to ensuring stable, predictable delivery and smooth operations of our TV-Everywhere devices, with a primary focus on Norway and close collaboration across the Nordic markets. You will work at the intersection of technology, vendors, and business - driving execution, prioritisation, and alignment rather than traditional product discovery or feature ideation.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting things done, making clear trade-offs, and keeping complex deliveries on track.
Your mission
· Ensure smooth delivery and operational management of TV applications across Nordic markets during the maternity leave period.
· Act as a key execution driver for the agreed application strategy - making progress despite limited time and resources.
· Be the day-to-day point of coordination between internal teams, markets, and our external device vendor.
What you’ll do
Release coordination & delivery
Own and coordinate release timelines for TV applications in close collaboration with our vendor and internal squads.
Use Jira to manage features, bugs, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
Lead bug triage and prioritisation—clearly identifying blockers versus issues that can be handled post-release.
Ensure releases are well-prepared, communicated, and executed across markets.
Vendor management
Maintain frequent and structured contact with our vendor to ensure delivery commitments are met.
Push for progress, follow up on dependencies, and escalate when needed to keep timelines intact.
Act as a clear and pragmatic counterpart to the vendor, balancing quality, speed, and feasibility.
Stakeholder alignment across markets
Collaborate closely with local business units, market teams, and technology stakeholders in Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
Participate in cross-country prioritisation discussions and help resolve conflicts when market needs compete.
Communicate clearly and proactively on status, risks, and decisions.
Configuration & operational work
Perform hands-on operational tasks using configuration dashboards and admin tools.
Implement simple changes and adjustments directly—no heavy coding required, but comfort with technical tools is essential.
Who you are
· A structured and execution-oriented professional who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
· Comfortable making prioritisation decisions and standing by them.
· Calm under pressure, with the ability to keep momentum when timelines are tight.
· Collaborative and communicative—able to align people across countries, teams, and disciplines.
· Hands-on by nature: you don’t wait for others if you can fix or configure something yourself.
What you’ll bring
· Strong technical understanding of apps and related ecosystems, preferable in TV & Streaming environment.
· Solid experience with release management, testing, and bug triage.
· Proficiency in Jira for tracking tickets, acceptance criteria, and delivery progress.
· Experience working closely with external vendors and holding them accountable for delivery.
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in a Nordic or multi-country setup.
· Familiarity with OTT platforms and the Nordic TV & streaming landscape.
· Comfort working directly in configuration dashboards, admin panels, or similar operational tools.
· Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Why join us?
