TSS is seeking a strategic and technology-oriented leader for the newly established role as Director of Systems, Processes & Architecture. In this position, you will play a key role in exploring, shaping and developing the People Services’ systems landscape and digital architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and future HR technology developments.

You will utilize HR technology and systems to enhance and create efficient employee experience across Telenor, while leading a team of 14 skilled HR tech specialists located in multiple countries. The role reports to the Vice President of People Services and is part of the management team, providing an opportunity to contribute to a holistic perspective and operational excellence.

Some of your main responsibilities:

  • Shape and advance Telenor Shared Services’ HR systems landscape and digital architecture, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and future HR technology trends.
  • Drive process excellence by optimizing and standardizing workflows to deliver better efficiency, automation, and improved employe experience.
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of HR technology specialists across multiple locations, fostering a high-performance and innovation-driven culture.
  • Collaborate with CHROs, business units, shared services, tribes and external vendors to drive and deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Safeguard compliance by ensuring all HR systems and processes meet regulatory and data security standards
  • Enhance data and analytics by improving master data quality, enabling AI-driven solutions and people analytics for improved decision-making.
  • Advise management by providing end-to-end insights into the system landscape, emerging trends, and processes, enabling informed and strategic decision-making aligned with business needs.

Who are we looking for?

  • Solid experience in HR architecture, technology, and process design, preferably within a shared services and a multinational environment.
  • Proven ability to enhance employee experience through effective use of HR systems and digital solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of AI, process automation, analytics, and data governance principles.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading teams across multiple locations and diverse cultures.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and collaborate effectively with HR, IT, and business leaders to drive change.
  • Fluency in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
  • Higher relevant education.

  • The role is based in the Nordics and requires weekly attendance at Fornebu (Oslo). 
  • Some travel must be expected.
  • We conduct background check on relevant candidates through Semac.
  • The role requires security clearance according to the Norwegian Security Act. Any offer will be made with this caveat, meaning that if the application for security clearance is denied by National Security Authorities (NSM), Telenor may have legal basis to make changes in the position or terminating the employment agreement.
