Telenor Group Internal Audit & Investigation (GIAI) is Telenor Group’s global internal audit and investigation function. Our functional reporting line is to the Telenor ASA Board of Directors through the Board’s Risk and Audit Committee. Our goal is to be a world class 3rd line function, delivering consistent high-quality work across business areas and geographies. We are a diverse team with eight different nationalities based in Fornebu, Bangkok, Islamabad, and Singapore.

The Auditor will be part of the Governance and Business Operations (GBO) team in GIAI, which is a team of five. We are responsible for managing audits in the areas of governance, telco operations, sourcing and business partner management, financial services etc. for Telenor Group.

About the role

As our new Auditor, you will join a unique international team that provides good learning and development opportunities within Norway as well as across the borders. In this position you will be at the heart of Telenor Group by having a key role in Group Internal Audit and Investigation (GIAI). You will be working with a team that conducts audits into areas that will have high attention of senior management and other stakeholders.

The Auditor will be handling interesting audits and interaction with knowledgeable stakeholders to deliver the audit plan for Telenor and assurance for a conducive environment for responsible business to develop.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• 5 years of auditing experience, preferably from various industries and cross borders.
• Relevant master’s degree or equivalent, but relevant experience can compensate for a formal degree.
• English is our working language though speaking a Scandinavian language will be an advantage.
• Competence with data analytics is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
