YOUR KEY JOB DESCRIPTION
You will become part of a team responsible for the large customer acquisition in the corporate business of DNA and the Telenor Group. As a team, we are accountable for acquiring major Finnish and international private sector customers, and through customer understanding, We are able to create clear added value for new customers. Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving customer acquisition in enterprise customer segment. This role requires a proactive, systematic, and consultative approach to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, building relationships with potential customers, and achieving sales targets.
Your key areas of responsibility will be:
Identify and generate new sales opportunities through networking, proactive prospecting, and strategic research.
Develop a deep understanding of our services and our customers’ strategies and businesses to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
Navigate and engage with C-level executives to challenge and influence customers and establish long-term business relationships and secure contracts.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring customers’ needs are met.
Lead cross-functional sales team to develop sales strategies and build proposals to customers.
Collaborate, build sales strategies, and lead Nordic sales cases with Nordic colleagues and teams.
Network and build relationships with stakeholders (technology vendors, consultants, etc.) and stay current with market trends.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that resonate with key demographics.
PREFERRED COMPETENCE IN THIS ROLE:
We are looking for a new colleague with Master’s or bachelor's degree in technology, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. You have minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in technology, digitalization, IT or telecommunications sector and proven experience of successfully acquiring new business accounts.
We are looking for an active and energetic sales professional who is skilled in developing customer relationships and willing to put in the effort to achieve their goals. We expect you to have a good understanding of the constantly changing business environment and be able to create value for customers with a solution-oriented mindset.
Success in new customer acquisition demands resilience under pressure and a high degree of autonomy. It is crucial that you can prioritize and manage your workload effectively, even in demanding or difficult situations. We use both Finnish and English as working languages, so it is important that you have strong communication skills with written and spoken English and Finnish languages.
The position requires some customer meetings primarily in the Southern Finland area, as well as readiness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally. This position requires an approved statement of security clearance.
