Your role: Strategic sourcing that powers the Nordic networks
You’ll join the Nordic Procurement organization and take responsibility for the Networks category – including radio access, core network, transmission, passive infrastructure and related services. The role is central to ensuring reliable, cost-effective and future-proof sourcing decisions across the Nordic markets.
Your daily work will include managing strategic sourcing processes end-to-end, collaborating closely with Technology, Finance, Legal and Telenor Procurement Company. In addition, you will work close with our Joint Venture Company in Sweden, N4M. You’ll engage with local stakeholders and suppliers, contribute to category strategies, and help implement scalable, innovative and sustainable sourcing solutions.
You’ll be based in Stockholm, with hybrid work and a clear focus on collaboration across borders and teams. You will be a part of a procurement transformation building an Nordic Procurement organization.
What you bring: Telco understanding, structure and drive
You bring experience from procurement or commercial roles within the telco industry and understand the network domain – especially within Transport, Core or RAN. You’re strategic, structured and comfortable leading complex sourcing processes and manage stakeholders across countries. You know how to create value for the business and manage risk in an evolving and rapidly changing environment, in addition to being a strong problem solver.
We imagine you recognize yourself in some of the following:
You’ve worked 8–10 years in procurement , telecom or relevant commercial roles
You’re experienced in managing and running sourcing processes from planning to negotiation and implementation, and reviewing it from a Total Cost of Ownership perspective
You’re experienced in working with global telecom OEMs and strategic suppliers
You’re experienced in leading high value / complex negotiations and delivering cost savings / value creation initiatives
You’re familiar with legal and commercial aspects such as contracts and supplier KPIs
You work with self-direction and build trust with internal stakeholders and external partners and are experienced in managing senior stakeholders (CxOs)
Analytical capabilities with interest for digitalization of procurement
While English is the primary working language in the role, it’s a clear advantage if you understand and can express yourself in Swedish or another Scandinavian language, especially when engaging with local stakeholders.
