At DNA, we use modern technology to deliver high-quality online services for both our consumer and business customers. Our digital channels team develops DNA's websites, webshops, self-service portals, and mobile applications. We work with both internal developers and selected vendors to create the best possible experience for our users, using a Headless CMS and microservice architecture, supported by cloud-based e-commerce platforms.
We are currently seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our corporate self-service development team. In this role, you will contribute to building scalable and reliable backend services while working closely with cross-functional teams. We are looking for someone with solid software development experience, strong coding skills, and an openness to exploring modern approaches, including AI-augmented development. Fluency in English and experience working in agile environments are essential.

What are we looking for in an application?
Extensive backend development experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices
Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL)
Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka)
Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Kubernetes) and DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins) and CI/CD practices
Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket)
Experience with AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with fluency in English
A growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and approaches
