Telenor makes organisational changes
Telenor Group has today announced a change to its organisational structure and its executive management team in order to transition into a more integrated global company and to deliver on its digital strategy. The changes will be effective from 1 March 2017.

During the past days, media has approached Telenor ASA with questions regarding cases uncovered by Group Internal Audit, currently being handled internally or under investigation by local government. In this release, Telenor ASA accounts for these cases. Two of the three cases were commented on by Telenor in April, this year.
Telenor publishes Global Impact Report
Telenor has today published its Global Impact Report, quantifying the company’s socioeconomic impact. The report was compiled by KPMG, and shows that Telenor contributed an estimated USD 20.3 billion towards economic growth (measured in terms of Gross Value Added ) across its 13 markets in 2015.

Telenor today announced the launch of Valyou, a mobile financial services provider offering affordable and convenient mobile money solutions in Malaysia through a handy mobile wallet app.
Telenor reports third quarter results
“The third quarter showed good performance, with continued revenue growth and an all-time high EBITDA, supported by a strengthened cost focus across the Group. A key highlight this quarter is the encouraging sign of data monetisation in Bangladesh and Pakistan. While Norway was impacted by lower roaming revenues, we experienced solid uptake on our new mobile tariffs. High-speed broadband in Norway and Sweden performed well during the quarter.
