Telenor CEO withdraws from VimpelCom Supervisory Board
The President and CEO of Telenor Group, Jon Fredrik Baksaas, has today informed VimpelCom Ltd. that he steps down from the Supervisory Board of the company with immediate effect. This decision was taken in alignment with the Board of Directors of Telenor Group.

All-time high revenues and EBITDA
In the third quarter of 2014, Telenor Group reported revenues of NOK 27.7 billion, representing an organic revenue growth of 3.5%. EBITDA before other items was NOK 10.3 billion, the EBITDA margin was 37% and operating cash flow was NOK 6.3 billion.

Telenor Group completes 100% ownership of Telewings
Telenor Group announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the 26 per cent ownership stake in Telewings, held by Lakshdeep Investment & Finance. As a result, Telenor now takes full ownership of the company that operates under the brand name Uninor. The process was finalized after Telenor received approval from the Indian government’s Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) to increase its stake from 74 per cent to 100 per cent.
