Telenor Broadcast today announced that it has acquired the TV-rights for SAS-ligaen, the Danish top football league. The matches will be broadcasted on the TV-channels DR and dk4.
New mobile survey from Telenor
Norwegian children are teachers: more than 20 per cent teach their parents how to use a mobile phone. This is one of several findings in a new mobile survey from Telenor. The survey shows that children receive mobile phones earlier, and before parents think it is ok. The division is clearest for 10 year olds: almost all 10 year olds have a mobile phone.
Once again, Telenor reduces prices for using your mobile abroad
It’s becoming steadily cheaper for Norwegians to use their mobile phone when travelling in Europe. This year, Telenor has reduced prices for voice traffic on private subscriptions by up to 50 per cent, and the reductions mean total savings for customers of around NOK 170 million.
Telenor Obtains Unaudited Kyivstar Financial Results
Telenor has now obtained unaudited Kyivstar financial results for the first three quarters of 2007. In response to the termination of an injunction by a Ukrainian court on 23 November, Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar has begun to provide Telenor with unaudited financial information.

Telenor has established Norwegian operation
Telenor is restructuring its Norwegian operation. A Norwegian unit, Telenor Norway, is established as part of Telenor Nordic. This new unit is headed by Ragnar Kårhus, who today is the assisting head of the Nordic operations. The restructuring also brings about some changes in the top management of the Norwegian operation.

Telenor ASA on Wednesday reduced its stake in Malaysian subsidiary DiGi.COM Bhd (“DiGi”) in order to comply with the 49 per cent equity ownership requirement of the Malaysian Government.
US Federal Court confirms Telenor’s Arbitration Award against Alfa and Orders Alfa to Comply with Award
(Fornebu, Norway; Kyiv, Ukraine; and New York, New York – 5 November 2007) The US Federal Court for the Southern District of New York on Friday 2 November granted Telenor’s petition for enforcement of its final arbitration award against the Russian Alfa Group subsidiary Storm. The Court denied Storm’s motion to vacate the award and ordered Storm to comply with the award.
New share and incentive programmes at Telenor
Telenor’s Board of Directors has adopted a new long-term incentive programme for Telenor managers and a new share programme for all employees of Telenor. The programmes shall strengthen both managers’ and employees’ focus on long-term value creation at Telenor.
