What was the most exciting project you worked on as a trainee in Telenor?
It is hard to only choose one thing that was most exciting during my trainee year, since there were many so many interesting things happening! If I have to choose just one, it was to be involved in changing our way of work in IT, our value chain change (VCC) project. I was part in the beginning of the project when we discussed the vision, and what we wanted to achieve with the change. Since I was working closely with both our CFO and CEO at the time, I was also alongside the project team looking into how Our governance structure and steering could be with an agile setup. There were many people involved in the project from all over the organisation, and they did a fantastic job!
What will you work with in Telenor, now that the training programme has finished?
Today I work as a business developer in Channels and the automated support squad (our squad name is Awesomatics)! We are looking into automated support solutions for our customers, and currently we are preparing our activity plan for the year, so there are many brainstorming sessions and workshops on discussing exciting, new, potential initiatives. In addition to putting together our activity plan with the help from the team, I work as a project leader in two interesting projects for digital and automated support, which hopefully will be launched in the early start of 2019. I would probably never have ended up in this team if it wasn’t for my trainee year. I am so grateful for the network you gain as a trainee and the great support when taking on new challenges!
