Head of Treasury Reporting & Analysis - Group Treasury Telenor

Telenor Group Treasury is looking for a new colleague in the role of Head of Treasury Reporting & Analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop the analytical capabilities of Group Treasury, as well as improve competency within funding, corporate finance and risk management of Telenor Group. The Head of Treasury Reporting & Analysis is critical for reporting a substantial part of Telenor’s debt and analysis of how the exposure is impacting Telenor accounts.
Group Treasury is the centralized treasury function at Telenor and has the overall responsibilities for all treasury operations in Telenor Group. Group Treasury’s main responsibilities include funding, liquidity, foreign currency and interest rate risk management, cash management, internal loans and guarantees, accounting and reporting of financial items and external debt.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Responsible for Treasury and Telenor Group financial items and external debt, including analysis and presentation to senior management and financial review.
Key stakeholder for analysis of impact from FX and interest rates for Telenor Group.
Ensure correctness of accounts for Group Treasury, including fair value and net investment hedge accounting for Group.
Further develop the reporting & analysis capabilities of Group Treasury.
Ensure continuous improvement of processes related to team, internal control and other reporting deliveries.
Responsible for Group Treasury annual accounts and several Group notes, including financial audit.
Responsible for accounting and system administration of Treasury management system.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the Treasury IT environment.
Member of Group Treasury management team.
Qualifications and key strengths
Master level within Business, Finance, Accounting or similar.
Proven experience of +5years in treasury, accounting, audit or financial reporting and controlling.
Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel and Power Point.
Great communication and presentation skills.
Experience related to IFRS.
Ability to balance the need for a high level of accuracy and tight reporting deadlines.
Strong inner drive with mindset to improve processes, simplify and automate.
Interest for IT and systems such as ERP, TMS and consolidation systems.
Ability to build good working relationships and be a champion for collaboration.
