Background: Sigve Brekke, born 1959, joined Telenor in 1998 as an Advisor, and was in 1999 employed as Manager Business Development and later Managing Director of Telenor International, Region Asia. Mr. Brekke served as co-Chief Executive Officer of dtac from 2002 to 2005, and Chief Executive Officer in dtac from 2005-2008. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and Head of Asia Region, prior to his appointment to President and CEO. Before joining Telenor, Mr. Brekke has served as the State Secretary (Deputy Minister) of Defence in Norway in 1993, and has also held position as associate at the Center for Science and International Affairs, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, USA.
Education: Mr. Brekke holds a Master degree in Public Administration from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

Background: Jørgen Rostrup, born 1966, has more than 20 years’ business experience in an international context and comes from the position as President of Yara North America, Inc. He has a broad range of management positions in two of Norway’s leading companies, including Country Manager for Yara Ghana Ltd., CFO in Norsk Hydro AS, Executive Vice President Energy in Hydro and CFO for Hydro’s Norwegian oil and gas activity. Rostrup has also been on several boards, including positions within the private equity and investment banking area.

Cecilie Blydt Heuch

Background: Cecilie Blydt Heuch, born 1965, has more than 25 year’s business experience in an international context and comes from the position as Chief HR Officer from DNV GL, a position she held for 11 years. Her previous work experience also includes managerial positions in Norsk Hydro in Norway and Hydro Agri (today Yara) in Italy. Ms. Heuch is currently a board member of Fred Olsen Energy.
Education: Heuch graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. She holds a Master of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a Diploma of Business Studies from Henley Management College.
Morten Karlsen Sørby

Background: Morten Karlsen Sørby, born 1959, joined Telenor in 1993 and has served in a number of executive positions. In 2014, Sørby was CEO of Uninor, Telenor’s wholly owned operations in India. He comes to the position as EVP and Chief Transformation Officer (CTRO). He has previously served as the Executive Vice President in charge of corporate strategy and regulatory affairs in Telenor Group and acting CFO for Telenor Group. Sørby was also the Executive Vice President and head of the Norwegian and Nordic mobile and fixed network operations of Telenor.
Education: Sørby holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Karlstad. He has also completed additional education from IMD in Switzerland and is a state-authorized public accountant in Norway.

Background: Anne Kvam, born 1968, previously held the position as Head of Responsible Investments at KLP Kapitalforvaltning AS, where she was also part of the management team. Prior to this she worked at DNV GL as Principal Consultant Sustainability, Global Head of Ownership Policies at Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), as well as various managerial positions at Norske Skogindustrier ASA, including General Counsel. Kvam has significant board experience, and has served two years as member of Telenor’s Corporate Assembly.
Education: Anne Kvam holds a Masters of Business Administration from University College Dublin and a law degree from the University of Oslo, specialising in international human rights.

Background: Ruza Sabanovic, born 1971, joined the green field operations in Telenor Montenegro in 1996. Since 2014 she was SVP Technology and Industrialized projects, part of the Group Industrialized Development team. She has previously served as Chief Operating Officer in Telenor India and was also heading Group network function and Group CTO forum. From 1994-2008 Ruza served as the assistant professor at the Civil Engineering Faculty, University of Montenegro.

Svein Henning Kirkeng

Background: Svein Henning Kirkeng, born 1970, has a 20 year track record with Telenor. After joining Telenor Norway’s Mobile unit in 1995, he held several management positions in the company, predominantly within international mobile. In 2007, he became Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Consumer Markets for Telenor Norway. From 2012 Kirkeng joined Telenor Digital and was appointed Chief Commercial Officer in 2013. He joined Telia in June 2016 as CMO for their Norwegian operation but returned to Telenor in June 2017 to lead the new Products & Marketing global unit.
Education: Kirkeng holds a Master of Marketing and Management from Norwegian Business School (BI).

Background: Petter Furberg has extensive experience from several of Telenor’s operations and business areas. Since joining the company in 1998, he has held a number of senior management positions, including CEO in Myanmar and Bangladesh, CFO and CMO in dtac, Thailand, and Head of Financial Services for Telenor Group based at Fornebu. Furberg started his Telenor career in the finance department of Telenor International in Norway. Today he is EVP, Cluster Head for Emerging Asia and part of Telenor’s Group Executive Management. Prior to joining Telenor he held senior positions with the Norwegian Parliament and Norwegian Ministry of Finance.
Education: Furberg holds a degree in economics and business administration based on a four year programme (Siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics and is a Certified European Financial Analyst (AFA/CEFA).

Background: Albern Murty, born 1972, was appointed Chief Executive Officer on 1 April 2015. Prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd. Since joining Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd in 2002, he has held roles in Project Planning and Controls, Product Management and Product Development, and as Head of Strategy and New Business, Acting Co-Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. Before Digi, his previous experience includes business and commercial management roles in Lucent Technologies across the Asian region.
Education: Albern holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Advertising Management from Portland State University, Oregon, USA.
