Background: Sigve Brekke, born 1959, joined Telenor in 1998 as an Advisor, and was in 1999 employed as Manager Business Development and later Managing Director of Telenor International, Region Asia. Mr. Brekke served as co-Chief Executive Officer of dtac from 2002 to 2005, and Chief Executive Officer in dtac from 2005-2008. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and Head of Asia Region, prior to his appointment to President and CEO. Before joining Telenor, Mr. Brekke has served as the State Secretary (Deputy Minister) of Defence in Norway in 1993, and has also held position as an associate at the Center for Science and International Affairs, at Harvard University, USA.
Education: Mr. Brekke holds a Master degree in Public Administration from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

Background: Jørgen Rostrup, born 1966, has more than 20 years’ business experience in an international context and comes from the position as President of Yara North America, Inc. He has a broad range of management positions in two of Norway’s leading companies, including Country Manager for Yara Ghana Ltd., CFO in Norsk Hydro AS, Executive Vice President Energy in Hydro and CFO for Hydro’s Norwegian oil and gas activity. Background: Cecilie Blydt Heuch, born 1965, has more than 25 year’s business experience in an international context and comes from the position as Chief HR Officer from DNV GL, a position she held for 11 years. Background: Morten Karlsen Sørby, born 1959, joined Telenor in 1993 and has served in a number of executive positions. In 2014, Sørby was CEO of Uninor, Telenor’s wholly owned operations in India and comes now from the position as acting CFO. He has previously served as the Executive Vice President in charge of corporate strategy and regulatory affairs in Telenor Group. Sørby was also the Executive Vice President and head of the Norwegian and Nordic mobile and fixed network operations of Telenor.

Background: Wenche Agerup, born 1964, was previously Executive Vice President, Corporate Staffs at Hydro. She was responsible for Legal Services, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Human Resources and Organizational Development (HR), Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and the Company Secretary. She worked in Hydro from 1997 until January 2015, and held several positions including plant manager in Årdal, Norway, and head of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). Background: Svein Henning Kirkeng, born 1970, has a 20 year track record with Telenor. After joining Telenor Norway’s Mobile unit in 1995, he held several management positions in the company, predominantly within international mobile. In 2007, he became Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Consumer Markets for Telenor Norway. From 2012 Kirkeng joined Telenor Digital and was appointed Chief Commercial Officer in 2013. He joined Telia in June 2016 as CMO for their Norwegian operation but returned to Telenor in June 2017 to lead the new Products & Marketing global unit.

Background: Berit Svendsen, born 1963, joined Telenor in 1988 as a Research Scientist. From 2000 to 2005 she was Executive Vice President and CTO of Telenor and also working Chair of Telenor R&D. Background: Alexandra Reich, born in 1963 and an Austrian national, has served as EVP and Head of Mobile Business for Swisscom Enterprise since 2014, after joining the Swiss company in 2009. Having initially started her career in investment banking, Reich became a pioneer in the online business with her first own digital business start-up in 1986. In 2001, Reich joined the telecommunications industry, holding roles at VIAG Interkom, General Manager of T-Online Austria, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at 3G Hutchison Austria and COO for private customers at Sunrise in Zurich.

Background: Lars-Åke Norling, born 1968, joined Bredbandsbolaget (Sweden) in 1999, where he held various senior positions. In 2006 Norling was appointed Head of Telenor Sweden’s fixed network and a year later he took on the position as CTO of Telenor Sweden. From 2009-2014, he served as CEO of Telenor Sweden, and most recently he served as CEO of Digi before joining dtac.

Background: Since joining Telenor 14 years ago, Mr. Furberg, born 1967, has held a number of senior management positions within the company, including dtac’s CFO and Chief Marketing Officer, where he oversaw product development, sales and marketing. He also previously served as Senior Vice President, Head of Financial Services at Telenor Group. Prior to joining Telenor he held senior positions with the Norwegian Parliament and Norwegian Ministry of Finance. He was the CEO of Telenor Myanmar from 2013 to 2016 and comes now from a position as Senior Vice President Telenor Digital Businesses.
Furberg holds a degree in economics and business administration based on a four year programme (Siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics and is a Certified European Financial Analyst (AFA/CEFA).
