The HSE[!] Central Staff is a part of Corporate Human Resources[!], whose principal responsibilities are:
- HSE reporting to Telenor's board and top management
- Professional maintenance and development of the systematic HSE work and corporate procedures
- To be a medical expert in matters concerning occupational injury and disability pension
- To carry out risk analyses and develop contingency and crisis plans
- To make contributions to national and international research on the working environment and to represent Telenor in national and international HSE liaison committees, including ETNO and its work groups and TSDC (Telecom Social Dialogue in Europe)
- Technical and co-ordinating responsibility for HSE information on intranet (InfoMart)
- Administrative and technical responsibility for Telenor Occupational Health Service
