All companies in Telenor have their own safety representatives' organisations, consisting of senior safety representatives and safety representatives. The safety representatives have important collaborating functions in connection with the systematic HSE[!] work in their departments. They shall participate in the planning work and during HSE audits, as well as contributing to a positive attitude to the local development of the working environment. The larger companies have senior safety representatives whose function is to co-ordinate the efforts of the safety representatives.
The safety representatives carry out their work in accordance with the Labour Inspectorate's regulation on Safety Representatives and Working Environment Committees of 1995.
