Telenor Occupational Health Service provides technical, operational support and advisory services to all units and subsidiaries, with both central and several regional departments. The departments consist of occupational physicians, physiotherapists, nurses and safety engineers.
A report is prepared each month summing up the activities of TOHS. The report shows the activities in the principal work areas and outlines the support and co-operation experienced in each of Telenor's business areas. Amongst other things, this involves:
HSE training carried out
Advisory activities in ergonomics, psychosocial conditions and physical working environment - Following up sickness absence and rehabilitation in the workplace
Surveys of ergonomic and organisational conditions and physical working environment
HSE auditing
Participation in committees and projects
Health assessments, including sight testing
Telenor Occupational Health Service works in accordance with the Norwegian Labour Inspectorate's regulation of 1992 relating to safety and health personnel.
