Telenor manages approximately 4 500 buildings with a total floor space of 1.15 million square metres, of which 850 000 square metres is owned by the Group and 300 000 square metres is rented. In addition there are a number of base stations and mountain stations.
This enormous building area represents a major environmental challenge, and improved management of the resources can yield both economic and environmental benefits.
