Wireless communication, miniaturization and rapid drop of costs have paved the way for a new and growing market opportunity. Communication capabilities are becoming embedded into things and objects as part of our everyday life. The Connected Objects (CO) Programme in Telenor [1] is established with the ambition to actively promote this development and to explore how Telenor can take an active role in the market. Our belief is that open innovation is a requirement to create opportunities in Connected Objects. We consider ourselves as an enabler of Connected Objects, and welcome everyone else to work with us. The main objective of this website is to give information about how our service platform works so you can consider how it fits with your companys needs, and to invite you to participate in our CO Innovation Arena. Welcome! [1] Connected Objects is a term used by Telenor to describe the plethora of services within the machine-to-machine m2m domain. Other related terms include Telemetry, the Internet of Things and Ubiquitous Computing. |
