Trainee and Internship programmes in the Telenor Group

Telenor Group

Through Telenor Group’s co-operation with Norwegian educational institutions, students can apply for internships in Telenor Group as part of their master’s degree. This opportunity is open to all students, both Norwegian and international. The internship agreements with the University in Oslo, the University in Tromsø and NTNU (Norwegian Institute for Science and Technology) in Trondheim are mainly in the areas of research and open innovation. Other relevant internship positions are offered to students taking a master’s degree in business and economics at BI Norwegian Business School. The deadline for applying is in the beginning of February.

Through Telenor Group’s partnership with Alarga, we develop and strengthen our intercultural working environment by extracting students and young talents on a global level. Alarga targets Norwegian students with a family background from Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and Central America that are about to start on their master degree.

Telenor Norway

Telenor Norway encourages talented young people to become a part of Telenor through summer projects or trainee positions. The summer projects are an opportunity for students with different backgrounds to work together and experience teambuilding. The positions are advertised in January each year, with a deadline in early February. We hire on the background of your abilities and give you the opportunity to shape your own future.

In 2012, Telenor Norway started a technology trainee programme with four candidates. It lasts for 12 month and the participants rotate between four departments in technology.

Telenor Sweden

Telenor Sweden offers several alternatives for students and young professionals. They have management trainee positions, cooperation on exam assignments and summer jobs. The trainee positions have duration of 12 months where you work with the leaders learning about the telecom business. Telenor also offers students the possibility to write your exam assignment in cooperation with selected departments at Telenor dependent on your ideas and area of expertise. You can also apply for a summer job in Telenor Sweden.

Telenor Denmark

An executive trainee programme started up in Telenor Denmark in 2010. Telenor Denmark is also open to consider unsolicited applications from students and young professionals that take initiative and responsibility.

Telenor Serbia

”The right step” is Telenor Serbia’s internship programme that offer professional improvements to students through training and practical experience. Telenor Serbia offers two modules, Junior (3 months) and Senior (12 months), where the aim is to attract young people and give them work experience to help them on their career path. The programme started in 2011.

Telenor Pakistan

The Telenor Pakistan internship programme is designed to not only train our apprentices for the corporate world but also to sieve talent to create talent pools for entry level positions at our company. The internship is from six-eight weeks from June until September. For our internship programme we look for a group of outstanding students that want an exciting career with endless opportunities.

Grameenphone

Grameenphone offers an excellent internship programme to 4th year university students that run three times a year; January, May and September. Your role in Grameenphone shall challenge and stimulate you every step of the way, giving you the chance to prove if you are a true team player and a leader in the making.

dtac

dtac offers internship opportunities to 50 students every year. The programme is open to both juniors and seniors at the University. For qualified students that possess a good attitude towards life and work and are ready to learn new things, this internship is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on work experience.
