Telenor is top listed on the 2009/2010 Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI), which rank companies based on their combined performance on a range of economic, social and environmental criteria. Telenor improved its total score, a metric of overall performance, from 2008/2009.
The DJSI is the world’s most comprehensive annual analysis of sustainability trends and corporate sustainability performance. The research is conducted by analyst firm SAM Research, which has analysed extensive internal and external documentation across more than 90 in-depth questions.
Telenor Group was one of only five global mobile telecommunications companies top listed on the Indexes. The number 1 position this year is held by Deutsche Telekom.
