New Telenor ASA Board Member

The corporate assembly in Telenor on 29 May 2008 expanded the Board of Directors of Telenor ASA from 10 to 11 members to increase the Board's expertise within international business relations and elected Mr. Burckhard Bergmann as new member of the Board.
Burckhard Bergmann, who is elected as a new shareholder representative of the board, is a German citizen and was until February 2008 Chairman of the Management Board of E.ON Ruhrgas AG. He holds board positions in several major international companies.
The board of Telenor ASA will then consist of:
