Telenor renews partnership agreement with Nobel Peace Center

On Monday 5 May Telenor renewed its partnership agreement with the Nobel Peace Center for a further three years with effect from 1 July 2008.

Communication enhances global understanding

Dynamic partner

Telenor has been one of the Nobel Peace Center’s main partners since 2004. The partnership agreement is worth NOK 7.5 million.

“Throughout the whole period Telenor has been a very dynamic partner. We look forward to continuing this fruitful partnership,” says Director of the Nobel Peace Center, Bente Erichsen.

Cooperation with Norway’s leading companies

“The Nobel Peace Center is the cultural institution in Norway which has the greatest part of its total budget funded by private sponsors. A renewed agreement with Telenor is confirmation that we have been successful in cooperating with the most professional sponsors among Norway’s leading companies,” says Bente Erichsen.

The Nobel Peace Center presents the Peace Prize laureates and their work, Alfred Nobel and the Nobel organisations, as well as topics relating to war, peace and conflict resolution.
