Experience Telenor from the inside
Article:
On 13 December Telenor launched a new trainee blog on Telenor.com, where visitors get to interact with our trainees. The 12 trainees will share their experiences and relate challenges they encounter in their daily work.
For the first time visitors on Telenor.com can interact by commenting and asking questions directly to the Telenor trainees. The trainees are between 23-27 years old, and come from Malaysia, Hungary, Sweden and Norway.
International experiences and real life challenges
The purpose of the blog is to describe to readers what working at Telenor is like.
“The blog concept on Telenor.com provides an opportunity for readers to learn more about what an international mobile operator as Telenor can offer. In the time to come you will be able to read about our trainees’ international experience and real life challenges,” said Thor-Philip Hauge, Head of Telenor’s global trainee programme.
RSS feeds and interaction with Telenor trainees
Every week new postings will be published on Telenor.com. Through RSS feeds the readers can easily keep up with all new blog postings. The readers have the opportunity to ask questions or add comments to the trainees’ postings. These will be responded to by the bloggers themselves.
Global trainee programme
Telenor initiated a global trainee programme open to candidates worldwide for the first time in September 2007. More than 2600 candidates applied for the positions. The trainees who made the final 12, have now embarked on 18 months of training packed with hands-on experience and exciting cultural challenges.
