“Toca Boca is a truly digital winner with 2,7 million downloads. Telenor’s Vision and Values (“Be Inspiring” in particular) has been used as a guiding principle when selecting candidates to the short list. The following criteria has been emphasized

“We are both proud and happy for this very prestigious award. It shows that we are on the right track in introducing families to fun, creative and safe digital toys for kids. We’re especially glad that the jury recognized our work with open ended play – where kids just have fun, and don’t have to compete or get stressed,” says Björn Jeffery, CEO of Toca Boca.
The list of registered applications ended up with more than 30 highly qualified candidates from Sweden, Norway and Denmark, and from this the jury on the 14th November ended up with a short list of three candidates:
- Toca Boca
- Wevideo: first cloud based full feature video editing platform supporting user collaboration
- Never.no: a tool positioned to help broadcasters and content owners by connecting TV, Mobile & Social platforms through Two Screen and Social TV experiences
“The list of candidates this year was very strong, and we had some really good discussions in the jury before we ended up with Toca Boca as the winner. Including the two other candidates on the short list I would also like to draw attention to two other candidates, Legade; manage the digital estate for bereaved, and Dsafe AS, solutions for digital receipt. Their ideas were really inspiring,” says Rolv-Erik Spilling.
